Pay What You Can Night
Frequently Asked Questions
1. When and Where Can I Purchase Tickets?
Tickets will go on-sale one hour prior to the performance. For example, most PWYC performances start at 7:30 PM. Tickets will then go on-sale in person at the performance venue at 6:30 PM. No sales will take place in advance.
We do recommend arriving by 7:00 PM as many Pay What You Can performances do sell out.
2. How Much Does it Cost?
It is truly Pay What You Can. While we suggest a ticket price of $10.00 per ticket, we will accept - without judgement - whatever you are able to pay towards your admission.
3. What Payments are Accepted?
You may pay by cash or credit card. As the time to purchase tickets is limited to just one hour prior to the event, we prefer that you purchase in cash to keep the line moving quickly.
4. Does This Count as a Donation for Tax Purposes?
No. As you are receiving a ticket in exchange for your money, it is not a donation. It is a ticket purchase.
5. Is this a Full Performance?
Yes. The full play will be performed. This does, however, serve as a first look at the production and part of our rehearsal process. It is not a finished product and if you wish to see a more polished performance, we recommend you come to opening night or any performance after.
6. Can I use my Flex Pass to attend Pay What You Can?
We generally discourage this we want to ensure that folks who cannot afford to attend other nights have the opportunity to see the production, however, if you are unable to come to another performance, you may book for Pay What You Can. In this case, please email email@example.com ahead of time to let us know your plans.
Additionally, Pay What You Can performances are all general admission, so we will not be able to ensure that you can sit in your flex pass section. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.
