Where do I park? How much does parking cost?

ATC has plenty of FREE parking located in the surrounding the Theatre. If our lot happens to be full, you may also park for free on Alexander Street or in the Bob Walton Plaza parking lot.

Are there handling fees for tickets purchased to ATC shows?

Yes, ATC charges $2 per ticket to cover credit card processing charges for all  online, phone and in-person orders. If you wish to avoid this fee, you must pay for your tickets in cash.

What happens if I'm late to a show?

To cause the least amount of disruption to the performance and to other patrons, if you arrive late you'll be seated at the discretion of the house manager.

Is the theater accessible to persons with disabilities?

Yes, ATC fully accessible to persons with disabilities. If you require wheelchair-accessible seating, please contact the Box Office at 704.342.2251 ex.21. For more information on accessibility, click here.

Does the theater have listening devices?

Yes, ATC is equipped with Wireless Loop System that is compatible with T-coil hearing aids. If you do not have a T-coil enabled hearing aid, we do have headphones available at the Box Office. Listening assistive devices are offered free of charge, but a driver's license is required as security.

When are talkback discussions?

Post-show talkbacks with the cast and director are held after every Thursday performance.

May I bring my children to the theater?

ATC offers a wide range of programming, and the age-appropriateness varies. ATC's general policy is that children under the age of 6 are not permitted in the theater.

Many of the ATC's shows are appropriate for teens. If you have questions about the age-appropriateness of any show, please refer to the show page on this website or call the Box Office at 704.342.2251 ex.21.

What's your policy on cameras, beepers and cell phones in the theater?

Cameras are not permitted in the theater.

The ringing of a cell phone or beeper can be quite distracting for both the audience and the performers. If you bring a cell phone or beeper into the theater, please turn it off before the performance begins. If you must use your cell phone at intermission, please remember to turn it off before re-entering the theater.

Do all shows have an intermission?

Most shows at ATC have at least one 15-minute intermission. On rare occasions, however, a show may be performed without intermission.  Intermission information is listed on each show's page on this website and on the title page of your theater program.

What is the dress code at ATC?

At an ATC performance, you'll see all sorts of dress—from elegant cocktail attire to business casual to jeans. The rule of thumb is, wear what makes you feel most comfortable.

How can I be contacted in case of emergency?

If you need to leave a number for a sitter or relative, please leave the emergency performance phone number: 704.342.2251 ext.21. Also, be sure to give them your the name your tickets are under.
