Gerard Hazelton (KING) is excited to do another production with Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte. As an actor, singer, writer, director he has performed frequently in stage and film. Audiences will remember him from productions of Theatre Charlotte’s A RAISIN IN THE SUN, OnQ Productions THE BLUEST EYE, THE DUTCHMAN, A RHYME DEFERRED, THE COLORED MUSEUM, Actor’s Theatre’s PASSING STRANGE, THE PATRON SAINT OF LOSING SLEEP, and BY THE WAY MEET VERA STARK. He has performed in house and toured with Children Theatre’s Imaginon in their productions of HOLES, LIARS, TARZAN: THE MUSICAL, and THE OWL WHO WAS AFRAID OF THE DARK. He stays busy writing original theater works in his free time (featured at UNCC Center City, Just Do It and the I’m An Artist Dammit series.) His film credits include extra work on THE HUNGERGAMES and LEATHERHEADS. He is constantly pushing the envelope artistically and credits God’s love, family, and his wife Eryn for the support. “Relish every moment, have fun, and let the Universal Creator light up your life.”

Erica Truesdale (CAMAE) of Van Wyck, SC is a young Graduate of Winthrop University and is excited to be returning to the stage in Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte’s production of Katori Hall’s THE MOUNTAINTOP! Some of her most notable roles throughout her blooming career include that of Harriet Tubman in Carolyn Cage's HARRIET TUBMAN VISITS A THERAPIST (Harriet Tubman), FOR COLORED GIRLS THAT HAVE CONSIDERED SUICIDE (Lady in Red), THE PROPOSAL (Natalia Stephanova), and most recently SLAUGHTER CITY (Roach Lyles). Aside from her theatrical pursuits, Erica also spends time working on independent film projects in the greater Charlotte area. Ms.Truesdale intends to continue her study of both theater and film to further the exploration and development of her artistic platform.
